Terms of Service

Effective June 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of Corie. By creating an account or texting Corie, you agree to them.

1. The service

Corie is a personal relationship-memory assistant delivered over text message, with a companion web app. You tell Corie about people you meet; Corie stores those details and reminds you to follow up.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity on your account and for the phone number and devices you use to access it. Keep your access secure.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Corie to store data you have no right to hold, to harass anyone, to violate others' privacy, or to break the law. Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service. You're responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to record information about the people you add.

4. Plans, billing & trials

Corie offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan at $19/month or $190/year. Pro starts with a 7-day free trial; a payment method is required, and the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Billing is handled by Stripe. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and Pro features lapse at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Messaging

Corie communicates by SMS/iMessage. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. You can stop messages at any time per the in-conversation instructions or by deleting your account.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you put into Corie. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party integrations

Optional integrations (calendar, CRMs) are governed by those providers' own terms. You're responsible for your use of them and for any tokens you connect.

8. AI output

Corie uses AI to read cards, transcribe voice, and draft messages. AI can make mistakes; review drafts and extracted details before relying on them. Corie's suggestions are not professional advice.

9. Availability & changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep the service running but provide it "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Corie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
